Absolutely. A base Launch Kit can definitely be modified to suit your requirements. In fact, this might be a more economical way to get a more custom feeling website that starting from scratch.
The short answer is, it depends. I prefer to use Statamic for CMS-based websites because it's the best of both worlds: the UX for you, the website owner and content editor, is the best in the biz.
On top of that, the developer experience is so intuitive that I can build you just about anything with it. That being said, Statamic isn't the hammer for every nail. But it's a great hammer.
Probably! I've been around long enough to have a solid understanding and experience in a number of JavaScript frameworks, and if I haven't touched it, I can figure it out pretty quickly.
As a matter of fact, I teach React at BCIT in Vancouver.
Do these make sense for your project? It may, or it may not - it really depends. Get in touch to see what might make a good fit.
Again, the answer is, it depends. I've worked with WordPress for a very long time, and I know just how powerful and flexible it can be.
That being said, give the option, I would almost always recommend Statamic over WordPress for most CMS projects today.
